Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • Education: MD/DO in Infectious Disease.

  • Experience: 2-3 years in clinical ID care; telemedicine experience preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient with telemedicine platforms, strong diagnostic and communication skills.

This unique position follows a week-on, week-off schedule, offering an excellent work-life balance with no night call and no ER call coverage. You will provide high-quality care to patients with a range of infectious diseases in both outpatient and inpatient settings.   • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in infectious diseases; hospital and outpatient care experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in managing complex infectious diseases such as HIV, tuberculosis, and multi-drug-resistant organisms.
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting or a specialized ID clinic.

Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:
Florida ID Care is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or ARNP to join our Infectious Disease team. In this role, you will diagnose, treat, and manage infectious disease patients under physician supervision in both outpatient and inpatient settings. You should have a Master’s degree in PA or ARNP, be licensed to practice in Florida, and ideally have experience in Infectious Disease.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Diagnose and treat infectious diseases with a focus on developing treatment plans (antibiotics, antivirals, etc.).
  • Provide patient education on infection prevention, treatment adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulations.
  • Licensed in Florida as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP).
